The 172 Cup, first introduced to the market in 2003 was a lightweight, driver-focused version of the already hugely popular Clio 172. With thinner glass, a wider track, unique sparkling silver Turini alloy wheels and cloth interior, the 172 Cup is now regarded as the last of the true hot hatches – that is; no ABS, Traction Control, or driver aids – a true drivers car.
